August 30, 2016: Saltwater Crocodile

with 1 Comment

When I was 11 years old I was given an opportunity to travel to Australia, where I saw first-hand the incredible Saltwater Crocodile. I will never forget when I learned that this animal hiding most of its body underwater could grow longer than a school bus and snap its jaws with ferocious speed. It’s these moments that serve to remind us of our place on this planet – in the food web, with everybody else!

Hi. Great pic, wondering where you took this? And what gear and settings did you use?

    Thanks!
