Howdy from Texas! I am visiting Austin this weekend and it has been a blast so far. While landlocked, Austin boasts some pretty cool wildlife, including this week’s critter: the Barton Springs Salamander. I know this one’s a freshwater species, but I couldn’t resist those fiery red gills, and having gone to swim in Barton Springs just a few days ago, I felt it only appropriate to pay homage to the real locals!
100 Days Project Status: Today is Day 15.
October “Amateur” Photographer Showcase Status: two open spaces remain.
